This Privacy Policy explains how VELTY (“VELTY”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit veltycharge.com (the “Site”) or use our power bank rental service (the “Service”), in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable law.

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

2. What data we collect

• Information you give us: when you submit the partner form — your name, venue name, email address and phone/WhatsApp number; when you contact us by email or WhatsApp — the content of your message and your contact details.
• Rental & payment data: if you rent a power bank, the rental session details and payment information processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
• Technical data: your language preference (stored locally in your browser), and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages viewed) used for security and to keep the Site running.

3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and set up a partnership — your consent and steps taken at your request before a contract.
• To provide the Service and process rentals/payments — performance of a contract.
• To keep the Site secure and operational — our legitimate interest.
• To comply with legal obligations (e.g. accounting and tax) — legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf: website hosting (Hetzner, EU), email service (Zoho), partner-form delivery (FormSubmit — formsubmit.co), web-font delivery (Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts load), messaging (WhatsApp) and payment processing. We do not sell your personal data. These providers are bound to process data only on our instructions or under their own privacy terms.

5. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and partner data for as long as needed to handle your request and our relationship, and rental/transaction records for as long as required by law. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email support@veltycharge.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS encryption, to protect your data.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
